Started studying ceramics at the Richmond Institute with Anita Hoy. Subsequently completed a Diploma Course in Ceramics at Goldsmith College, London, in 1984.I work with different clay bodies ( crank, T material and red stoneware ), using coloured slips as a decorative medium. The work is high fired in a reduction atmosphere . Pieces are architecturally orientated, exploring the idea of homes or buildings ‘as vessels for people to live in’. They can be use as lanterns /garden pieces or boxes...
